fabby50 Posted April 1, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2008 Hey! I was happy to see NCL's posted more of the 2009 Caribbean schedule. They have Jan - April and then October through early 2010. HOWEVER - we want to take a Southern Caribbean cruise in May 2009 for our anniversary! Any travel agents or NCL employees out there know when they'll post May 2009 through September 2009? I am itching to use my MasterCard $$$ and my coupon I got on my last cruise! Thanks and happy sailing everyone -
chrisbd1 Posted April 1, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 1, 2008 I don't think NCL does the Caribbean in May. Most of the ships do Europe, Alaska and Bermuda in the summer.
fabby50 Posted April 1, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted April 1, 2008 They are doing it this summer according to the schedule and did it last summer according to the reviews. I thought it might have something to do with repositioning/changing the schedule of the Pearl since I know they're not doing the 9 day anymore, but I know the Jewel is. Want to book the Jewel -
chrisbd1 Posted April 1, 2008 #4 Share Posted April 1, 2008 You might have sailed on the Jewel in April but not after May. I looked over reviews for the last 2 years for the Jewel, the last Caribbean cruises have been in April. Generally the Repos are last April-early May. In the NCL press room, they have released their complete 2009 schedule. It looks like the Jewels last Caribbean cruise is April 12th 2009, after that would be a TA since she sails from London on April 28th. Norwegian Jewel-12-day Baltic Capitals, roundtrip from London ( Dover) In 2009, Norwegian Jewel sails April 28; May 10 and 22; June 3, 15 and 27; July 9 and 21; August 2, 14 and 26; and September 7 Norwegian Gem Seven-day Western Mediterranean itinerary, roundtrip from Barcelona In 2009, Norwegian Gem sails May 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31; June 7, 14, 21 and 28; July 5, 12, 19 and 26; August 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; September 6, 13, 20 and 27; October 4, 11, 18 and 25; and November 1, 8, 15 and 22 Norwegian Jade -year round in Europe Norwegian Dawn Seven-day itinerary, roundtrip from New YorkThree days in King's Wharf, Bermuda Norwegian Dawn sails May 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31; June 7, 14, 21 and 28; July 5, 12, 19 and 26; August 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; and October 4, 11, 18 and 25 Norwegian Pearl Seven-day Glacier Bay, roundtrip from Seattle Norwegian Pearl sails May 10, 17, 24 and 31; June 7, 14, 21 and 28; July 5, 12, 19 and 26; August 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; and September 6 and 13 Norwegian Star Seven-day Sawyer Glacier itinerary, roundtrip from Seattle Norwegian Star sails May 9, 16, 23 and 30; June 6, 13, 20 and 27; July 4, 11, 18 and 25; August 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29; and September 5 and 12 Norwegian Sun Seven-day Sawyer Glacier itinerary, roundtrip from Vancouver Norwegian Sun sails May 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31; June 7, 14, 21 and 28; July 5, 12, 19 and 26; August 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; and September
asand5554 Posted April 1, 2008 #5 Share Posted April 1, 2008 Any info on repos for 2009?
KerCar Posted April 1, 2008 #6 Share Posted April 1, 2008 Here's what we know so far for the summer of 2009: Pearl, Sun, Star: Alaska Dawn, Spirit, Majasty: Bermuda Gem, Jewel, Jade: Europe POA: Transferred to Star cruises POAm: Hawaii That covers all the NCL ships except the Dream. Maybe she'll be retired. As it stands now, it doesn't look like they'll be anything to the southern caribbean this summer.
