Update on Celebrity Air with Air France

I had recently posted queries regarding Celebrity air with Air France to Barcelona

with a connection in Charles de Gaulle airport in France. The majority of responses suggested that while Air France was a good airline very negative responses re CDG. I checked wth my TA to inqire if Celebrity offered an altrnate routing from Toronto Canada . Lo and behold Celebrity gave us Air Canada to Frankfurt then Lufthansa to Barcelona! We have done this routing on another TA with no problem whatsoever. We are delighted of course. We will be on the Sept 9th crossing on the Constellation for 14 days ending in Newark. It is a great itinerary with several very interesting ports.

Glad to hear it. We had cruise air via Frankfurt to Athens two years ago, and had a smooth experience (especially in comparison to the 24-hour delay at CDG!). Also you'll get Aeroplan credit for both segments.
