Traffic On Memorial Day?

Question for those who know. Driving to the port of Brooklyn on Memorial Day, do you forsee much traffic? Our 3 hour drive from Mass, should we leave home EARLY? Thanks ahead. :)

If you are driving on Monday morning, May 23rd you should be fine. Later in the day it could start getting more congested as folks start returning home from the three day weekend. I would leave Mass at 8am and you should be at the brooklyn pier before 1PM (depending upon where in MA you live).

May 23rd is Friday. The 26th is Monday. Oh, we will be at the pier by 10:30. I was thinking earlier! ;)

The traffic will be very light coming into the city early on Memorial Day. Brooklyn will be much easier for you since the parade can cause some tie ups in Manhattan.
