Fantasy - Tender in Cozumel?

Does the Fantasy tender or dock in Cozumel? Which pier are they at (or close to)?

We went last July we docked. Not at the one downtown about 4-5 miles away.

On both my February and December 2007 cruises on the Fantasy, we docked at Punta Langosta pier. That is the one downtown (across from the shopping district).

Fantasy has docked at both piers and the potential is there to tender if there are more than 4 ships in port.

When we were in Cozumel in February, I believe there was around 8-10 ships in port that day. Very crowded and we were still able to dock. Punta Langosta handles 4 ships alone. There are 2 other docks and I'm not sure exactly how many those handled. Very few ships tender these days in Coz.

Coz has 2 or 3 docks don't they?? I think in most cases you won't have to tender.

Just the other day you could see a ship tendering on the CozumelInsider webcam.

 

There are 2 cruise ship piers in Cozumel - the 3rd is still being rebuilt. Typically 4 cruise ships are all that can port and the rest tender.

 

This is no long peak season, so the odds are all ships will dock until Thanksgivingish.

There are two new docks being built also in the down town shopping district. They will be able to dock up to 6 supper liners at one time in cozumel.

In February we had to tender in and it sucked. It well over an hour to get off the ship, cutting into our time there.
