Formal Dress on QE2

I am totally confused on the dress code for ladies on a formal night on the QE2. Does the dress have to be full length or is a glittery, 3/4 length dress acceptable. I wouldn't like to be turned away at the restaurant. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I just got off the World Cruise and a nice 3/4 length dress (glittery or not) would be fine ... dress it up or down with jewlry. However, if you are in the grills you will want to dress up rather than down.
