Hotel Emperador Buenos Aires.

 

Has anyone stayed at this hotel and if so did it live up to your expectations? I believe it is in a good location. We are thinking of staying there next February.

We stayed there last week and whilst it is a lovely building and the rooms were nice, the service provided by bar and concierge staff left a lot to be desired. We were the victim of one overcharging attempt by bar staff and heard of numerous other attempts and this was all in a two day stay.

Concierge staff were disinterested and did not offer any assistance unless approached directly.

In summary, nice building, good location but be careful with service expectation.

Thanks for your comments - we will check our account very carefully! It certainly looks a nice hotel and we were drawn to it because of its central location.
