Explorer of the Seas - family suite questions

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this has been covered before, search is being a little moody today:rolleyes:

Wife and I have decided that after our Miracle cruise in a few weeks we'll begin planning taking the 5 kids on the Explorer in March of 2009. We've looked into the family suite but wanted to know a little more info about it. We've seen the photos on the official site but does anyone have anything more we can show the kids?

It also mentions concierge service, what does that include? We've gone the balcony route on Carnival but this is the first suite and also the first time for RCCL - so we wanted to know what to expect and what to tell the kids to expect.

Any input would be great.

Our travel agent recommended we get two adjoining promenade cabins as opposed to a family suite. This way, we had two bathrooms, two tv's, could close our door for more privacy, and had the same square footage for less $$. Just something to think about.

This website has a lot of good info. You can see pictures of various rooms.

yes, concierge is included. Look at RCCL website for specifics.

Another option is FOV, which doesn't have a balcony but has a seperate little room with bunkbeds in it. It is also a lot cheaper than the suite.
