Carnival Shore Excursions

With Carnival you have to book them on the ship. You go to the shore excursion desk, pick up a listing, fill out your choice on a form and deposit it into the box at the shore excursion desk. My suggestion is you do that immediately upon getting on the ship so you can get your 1st choice as they do fill up quickly.

Now with RCL you can do ship excursions online off their website prior to sailing. Since we normally do our own tours (independently from the cruiseline) it really doesn't matter to us.

On some ships you can also book them on FunVision from your cabin. It wasn't working yet for the new passengers when we were on the Legend (about 1 p.m. on embarkation day), so we went to the shore excursions desk with our picks already in mind. Had no problem getting what we wanted as we did this before the ship sailed.
