Fun in Puerto Vallerta

We had such fun in Puerto Vallerta, we made it to Malecon and saw the beautiful sand sculptures. Then we saw the "monkey" jumping up and down on the balcony, right near the the ladder sculpture, and there it was! The Cheeky Monkey. I would highly recommend this place. The prices for a DePacifico Beer is $1, and a Margarita is $1. We also had a great Shrimp Ceviche to go with our drinks for about $5. We are not affiliated with this place, just read about it here on CC and are very happy we found it. If you go, please say hello to the owner Troy for us. You will be happy you found it too!

How did you get to Malecon? Walk or taxi?

Too far to walk. Take a (yellow) cab from the Hwy close to the cruise-terminal for about $ 5.- or a local bus (Centro) for Pes. 5,50 each.

(Back direction Walmart)

On Malecon (and surrounding streets) you will find various nice Restaurants.
