Costa Romantica sailing 09 June 2008

Hi guys

Anyone out there been caught by Costa Romantica scheduled cruise cancellation by company for the sailing ex Rome, 09 June, 2008? Has anyone been offered any compensation by the Company? What has the explantion that has been used? We booked this cruise back in December 07 and only found out a few days ago that its been canned and as a result our travel plans have been majorly disrupted and additional costs incurred:eek: Anyone in the same boat? scuse pun!

I had a look at Costa UK & Germany sites and this sailing 9th. June is not even listed, in some Germany TAsit is show but as being sold out.

 

I suspect it is eaither going in for maintenance, but why wit 2 months and maitenance is normally done about November time just before repositioning for the winter season.

 

Or it has been chartered by a company or organisation.

 

How did you hear about the cancellation?

 

If I was in your position I would be using some very venacular langauge.
