Cruising on Boudicca to Fjords in May with my elderly mother - just a bit concerned ship will be full of 'oldies' and they'll be no break from them! Can anyone give me a bit of advice as to dress codes, activities, and general attitude on Boudicca - I'm told it's a bit old fashioned and traditional. Just looking for a bit of life aboard!!

I think Boudicca is the best ship FO has ,just my opinion , haveing cruised on "little uns and big uns",the ship is not a floating OAP home ,if its a family cruise you will meet lots of young people.

Its relaxed as you want it ,you don,t HAVE to attend formal dinners you can eat in the buffet.

As with most cruises ,unless you go for eg. Oceana or Ocean Village ,you will find people of a certain age . eg. over 40.
