Thanks for the great review :). We (2 adults and 1 9-year old) will be on the 4-day Inspiration in August which stops in Cozumel and I am looking into possible things to do. We have snorkeled in Hawaii and I was hoping to snorkle in Cozumel as well. Is snorkeling equipment included in the price? We will probably being our own masks and snorkels, buy we'll need fins. Also, what about towels?

My pleasure! We loved Chankanaab! We didn't end up snorkeling there...the seas were pretty rough. So not sure if the admission entitles you to the equipment or not. You may be able to find out if you go to cozumelinsider.com. I can't remember, but I think you can email questions to them through there, also.

We brought our towels from the ship...I don't know if they are available to rent.

But check out that sight and see if that helps you. It was a great place to spend the better part of a day!:D

What I understand is that Chankanaab offers rental snorkeling equipment. Not sure the cost though!
