Is the only way to bring back alcohol from the islands to pack it in your checked luggage? Single malt scotches are so much less expensive that we would like to bring some back from St. Thomas.

If you defifintely think that you will purchase the alcohol, take some bubble wrap and a small roll of packing or duct tape. We always bring alcohol back and pack it in our checked luggage. Haven't had any problems yet.

I just brought back a bottle of Baileys and I carried it in my carry on. No questions were asked.
