keywesst Posted April 12, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2008 KW doesn't really go crazy for Cinco de Mayo, we're not Mexicans. My favorite Mex restaurant has the added bonus of being quite moderately priced and is right on Duval Street. It is a casual, very friendly place, walk through and sit in the garden in the back. Salsa Loca 918 Duval Street

Salsa Loca 918 Duval Street Thank You Q! We had heard that Key West didn't celebrate Cinco De Mayo very much. We're not Mexican either, but we love Mexican food, and love a reason to party. Actually, we don't really NEED a reason. lol

keywesst Posted April 17, 2008 #7 Share Posted April 17, 2008 I don't know if you take travel notes but Salsa Loca's number 11 special is da bomb. They make a delicious chili rellenos and home made sangria. Try a Dark n Stormy at Schooner's!
