Apart from evening canapes, welcome champagne, fruit, etc., what else does concierge class give you? Some have mentioned different ability to order from room service but it's not clear to me.

In CC you do have the ability to order a full breakfast as opposed to a continental one. You get 1 upgraded tote bag (you can get a second if you ask), a leather case for your cruise card, priority embarkation and disembarkation, upgraded linens and choice of pillow types and flowers in your room. One of the things that Mercury does not have is a larger balcony cabin in CC, it is the same size as everyone else's. We ordinarily won't book CC unless they are all but giving it away at somewhere around $100 for a 7 day cruise.
