Lobster Co Ops?

When we were on our road trip of New England 2 years ago, we stumbled across a lobster Co Op where lobster boats came in with their catch. It was really interesting to see and we learned a lot just talking to the local lobstermen. They also had live tanks where you could pick out live lobsters and have them shipped anywhere you wanted. In addition, they had a little restaurant on the pier where they sold lobster. Prices were amazing.....1 and a half pounder (soft shell) and 2 ears of sweet corn for 11 or 12 dollars. We had an absolute feast and it was one of the highlights of our trip.

On our upcoming cruise our ports are: Halifax, St. John, Bar Harbor, Newport and Boston. Does anyone know of any any Co Ops like this in any of these ports and if so, how we can get there?

Thanks in advance for any info you might be able to give!
