Husband, myself and just 12month old going on the Elation on 04/24.

Dinner-highchairs? they are provided right? if so, anyone know if they have a tray, or pull up to our table? ~not good for a baby who likes to pull everything off the table!

Camp carnival~is it 2hours that they watch your child on the day at sea?

and do they give you like a pager so we can be reached if need be? (hear-say)

making bottles.. is the water out of the bathroom faucet safe to make a bottles with?

We were on Elation so I'll try to help you. Yes they have highchairs. I am trying to remember if they had to remove the trays when they brought it over to us  We didn't use the tray.

Water - from what people say, the water is safe to drink. But I didn't trust it. We brought nursery water with us.

Here is the info on the Under 2's

Under 2's - They are unable to accept children under the age of 2 during activity time, HOWEVER, infant - 2 year olds are welcome in the playroom each evening from 10pm - 3am and on port days (during specified times) for babysitting. A fee applies ($6 for the 1st child, $4 each additional sibling). In addition, they offer family play times where parents can come into the rooms with their Under 2's. Family playtime is available every Sea Day from 12-2pm, except the last sea day it is 1pm-3pm. During this time, only infants and their parents will be permitted into the room.

We too cruised on the Elation, and the highchairs are the standard restaurant-style highchairs---without a tray. Probably because they can be easily stacked for space-saving storage, which is really important on a ship. Remember too, that these style highchairs can't be adjusted. They are made from molded plastic.

When you sit down at the table, be sure to ask the wait staff to remove the place setting of dishes and glasses so that your grabby little one won't have a field day. Then, your little one will have room to play with a few smaller toys at the table while you wait for dinner. Also, there is usually bread on the table so you can give your baby a roll to chew/suck on to amuse him/herself.

Another tip...... is to try to go to the Matri'd the first day and request a table near the corner or by yourself..since you have a young one.

We just did that on our last cruise...and we got a table by ourselves...so we wouldnt disturb anyone.

We plan on doing that this time too....
