lolakat Posted April 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2008 I was reading the posts about NCL selling the NCL Majesty. Right now that is the only ship (or at least the only NCL ship) sailing out of Philadelphia. Do you think the sale of the Majesty will be the end of NCL out of Philadelphia or do you think they will replace it with another ship? We live in Philly and I had thought this might make a nice easy get away.
jpritcha Posted April 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2008 The Majesty is the only ship out of Philly these days and that really stinks because two summers ago we cruised out of Philly on Royal Carribean's Empress of the Seas and it was the best vacation we ever had. We live in Cinnaminson, NJ which is right over the Tacony Palmyra Bridge. A short 20 minute drive and your vacation starts. Since then we now cruise out of New York which is really only about a 50 minute drive. Nothing more convenient than leaving from Philly though. However, they can only accommodate the smaller ships.
