Westerdam -- Upper Verandah Deck

I was looking at the deck plan, and I can see that there is a forward

facing balcony -- all the way forward. Is this "public", like I've seen on

some other ships, or is it broken up, and private for each stateroom there?

it is a public deck. many people don't realize it's there

If it is the rooms on deck 6, my friend just stayed in one of those. Like Desdemona said, it is a public deck in front of the two forward facing oceanview cabins. Also, they lock the doors to that deck at night.
