Bottle of Wine

Has anyone CARRIED on the bottle of wine/champange that is allowed per person on the begining of the cruise? I know someone has. I don't feel comfortable leaving it in the checked luggage so has anyone just left it in their carry-on? Anyone give you funny looks? Thanks.

Yes! It is perfectly acceptable to carry on two bottles of wine per cabin, and you will not get any funny looks.:D

Yes, we have the bottles in our carry-on each cruise. Last year on the Pride before the restrictions, we had 7 bottles in a rolling cooler that we carried on. Last month we had 2 bottles in our regular carry-on bag.

What restrictions? I usually carry 4-5 wrapped in bubble wrap in my checked luggage, can we still do that?:cool:

She is talking about carry on, you mentioned checked luggage.

You should have no problems with taking 1 bottle per person in your carry on luggage.:cool:

Technically each adult can carry on a bottle of wine, if you're putting more than that in your checked luggage then they call that smuggling, but go for it, lots of people do!

We just did it a couple weeks ago. In fact, they were still in the bag from the liquor store. I was surprised, given the name on the bag, that no one ever looked inside. They were x-rayed though...
