Black Watch - trans Pacific

I wonder if any readers like me were on board the Black Watch for the cross Pacific sector of the world cruise in February. As a regular on this ship I thought it was a pretty good holiday. There were disappointments too eg not going ashore on Easter or Pitcairn islands. The farce in Tonga with the competition between our ship and the QE2 for the use of the ramshackle buses was a mixture of comedy and farce. All was forgiven with the trips to some of the lovely South Sea islands especially Fakarava and Rarotonga and, of course, the gorgeous New Zealand.

The entertainment was pretty ordinary but the Cap:) tain's star gazing was a super idea.
