Spirit Question

Do they still serve appys and tapas at Galaxy of the Stars?

 

It looks like a really cool place to hangout.

I don't remember seeing any kind of food there just drinks. It may ave changed since I was last on.

 

This is one of my favorite places to hangout on the ship. I was a relaxing place to sit and watch the water and since it is in the front of the ship you can sometimes pretend you are driving:p

only cocktails / drinks when we were on her in 06. It is a beautiful lounge. Had cocktails each evening before dinner. Ahh - I need a cruise now!

only the bar, didn't see any food....in dec. saw people bring stuff from the buffet and sit in the observation area.

We just got off the Spirit yesterday! No food is served in the Galaxy of the Stars but, of course, any kind of drinks are available. This is a wonderful room to watch out the front of the ship - Unless there is a specific activity (they used this room for bingo last week and other parties in the evening), its usually pretty empty and a great spot to relax. Be sure to check out the Captain's Bridge which is a spiral staircase on the left side of the room where you can go down a level and see into the bridge. There is also a nice display down there of pictures of the ship being built, plaques, the neck of the champagne bottle that christened the ship, lots of pictures, etc. Its a neat little spot!

Ditto. Just off yesterday, miss her already! :( This was my favorite room of the ship. My bf and I loved to sit there and watch the ocean sail by...

Is there anyplace that serves appetizers (other than the full restaurants) on the Spirit?

 

We really liked going to Las Ramblas before dinner on a previous cruise on the Sun.

i would have liked that, also. but no, nothing like las rambles on the spirit.

i didn't check all the bars...but no tapas.

That's disappointing. The NCL website still says that GOTS serves appetizers.

if they do, it's new since 2.0 and last dec.

if they did have them, it was up at the bar and not really visible. just checked my daily and it's not listed. fish and chips at henry's is, the late night buffet at the casino is listed...but nothing for GOTS.

Henry's had fish and chips, popcorn, and pretzels. The Bier Garden had food too, but GOTS didn't serve food (except during the Latitudes Party; they were serving the same canapes there that came with the Romance Package...not too tasty, IMHO)
