Hotel in san juan

Anyone know a good resort in San juan to stay before the cruise. We are going on a cruise in oct and want to spend three days before at a a resort close to a beach. We were looking at the Intercontinental resort in san juan. Anyone know anything about it or another place they recommend? Thanks

DH and I stayed at the Intercontinental last Oct. It was beautiful. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

 

This year we are staying at the Marriott Stellaris. Heard a lot of good things about this Resort.

 

Don't think you can go wrong with any of the resorts. Save some $$ and bid on Priceline.

You just relieved my buyer's remorse! I just made my first bid on Priceline for a resort hotel room and got the Intercontinental. Can you recommend any restaurants and nightlife in the area? We also need double beds and a non-smoking room, can I call the hotel directly with my requests? Lastly, are there any resort fees we should be aware of? Sorry for asking so many questions.
