We were on Carnival Fascination leaving Miami last weekend. We saw this impressive hotel (or some kind of building) on our right as we were about to go out in the ocean. Anyone have any idea what this building is??? Thanks.

Those would be my dream condos.

 

In that dream I would have waved to you and pointed my web video cam with high powered lens at you so you could wave to the folks back home.

 

That would be my job.

What you saw is Fisher Island if you were looking to your right when going out. This is where a lot of the rich and famous live including Oprah, Tom Cruise and many others. They do have a hotel that you can book but it does not come cheap.

 

The tall building on your left that was coral with blue glass was the Portofino towers. One bedrooms started at a half million about four years ago.
