Looking for a number I can call from abroad

American toll free numbers can be called from anywhere in the world.

They just are not toll free when you are calling from outside the USA.

 

Are you sure about this - you still have to dial the international code number and will you be charged for that??

I tried my darndest to phone back to the US from France on an 800 number and never was successful. That's the reason that travelers checks and travel insurance companies give you a regular long distance number to reach them when you are overseas.

This is their main phone number listed in the Santa Clarita CA phone book:

 

(661) 753-0000

 

Remember to use the +1 country code for calling to the US from abroad. On a cell phone, hold down the zero (0) and it becomes a plus sign.
