Q. Why are we charging $8 USD and $3 USD versus other cruise lines that may be charging less (or more)?

 

A. We establish the amounts of our fuel supplement based on our own internal analysis. The price of our

fuel supplement reflects the record high fuel prices our company has paid. For information on how

other cruise lines set their fuel supplement charges, please contact that cruise line directly.

Q. Are NextCruise bookings created prior to Nov 16, 2007, exempt from the fuel supplement? Does it

 

A. depend on whether or not they had already chosen a ship/sail date prior to Nov 16?

• If confirmed on an “actual” ship (not NC or CP) prior to Nov 16, 2007, they are exempt from fuel

supplement.

• Any changes of ship or sail date made after Nov 16, 2007 make the booking subject to the fuel

supplement. Therefore, if the NC or CP booking was created prior to Nov 16, 2007 and the ship/sail

date was chosen on a date after Nov 16, 2007, that booking is subject to fuel supplement.

• Changes in ship or sail date after May 1, 2008 are subject to the revised fuel supplement.
