downtown shop hours

Does anybody know how late the shopping area stores are open till?

We will be in port on the Dawn Princess from noon to 7 PM and would

like to visit the sea aquarium and then head downtown afterwards..

I think it was 5:00. Remember Curacao is not the US. Many shops will close up to 2 hours for lunch.

If you dock at the new pier there are a lot of nice vendors in the area.

The shops are not open in the evenings. We ventured into town only to find the only thing open was a McDonalds....anyone for a Big Mac? :p
