HorrorFan Posted April 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2008 Does anyone know with any certainty which nights would be the formal nights? We plan to book a couple evenings in Portofinos and/or Chops and since we will now be able to do it well in advance it would be nice to know. We do not wish to book the specialty restaurants on the formal nights.

BillB48 Posted April 26, 2008 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2008 Something you may want to consider, we were on the Brilliance in March for an 11 night PC cruise and there were 3 formal nights. Don't off hand remember which nights they were.
wrp96 Posted April 26, 2008 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2008 I went back and looked at my review from the Brilliance 10 night. Our formal nights were the 2nd evening (first sea day), and the 8th evening.

Actually I asked about formal nights because I don't want to book the restaurants on those nights. We enjoy getting dressed for the dining room on formal nights so we want to book the other restaurants on alternate evenings. And Portofinos and Chops are smart casual as well aren't they?
