Need help finding a hotel/motel near Bayside Market

I know that I can get some good info from all you cool cruisers........My son and daughter-in-law are cruising out of Miami, they plan on going down a day early, I would like to know if there's a "GOOD":p hotel/motel within walking distance to the Bayside Market Place? Thanks in advance for your help.:)

Holiday Inn Marina Park is directly across Biscayne Blvd from Bayside.

That said, there are *superior* hotels available through Hotwire/Priceline (3* and up in Downtown Zone) for significantly less $ than the HI, that are a short ride on the MetroMover (free) from Bayside.

Don't waste your money or your time at the Hyatt in Miami. The picture looks great on the website, in person it is not. The rooms are like a budget inn in comparison.

What exactly is the Bayside Market Place? Is it a mall? Is it in a nice area of town? What is there to do there? Thanks

Shopping and restaurants. Our group is planning to meet there at Bubba Gumps the night before our cruise. :) Some of us will be staying at the Holiday Inn mentioned above.
