how long is the walk to 7 mile from pier??

I've read several places about walking to seven mile beach, and that it's quite a hike....do you know about how long it would take at a regular walkin pace?? How for is it of a walk before you actually get to the water, so we can walk along water's edge. Then, how much furthur of a walk until there is some nice beach areas to sit and swim??

I would not walk it - is is pretty far.... we always tai it to grape vine hotel (I think that is the name)... there are a number of places to taxi it too..... and the taxi is usually a 15 min. drive (approx.)

 

coming back to ship - longer - due to traffic...... :)

I have done it, about 20-25 min walk to the beginning of the beach area. If you are in decent shape, go for it. The walk back was much longer, stopped at a few beach bars.:D
