alaska rt from san francisco june 16th what to wear

we are going to be on the dawn princess june 16th for a 10 day cruise to alaska...wondering what the to wear since it looks like it will be cold...would a light jacket be in order or would we need a heavy down jacket any other thoughts on clothles would be nice:rolleyes: ..thanks for your help...

I think you'll need more than a light jacket. We had heavy (but light in weight) jackets. We layered and that was the most important thing. That way, you can take off things as the day warms up.

 

Also bring rain ponchos--buy then in the dollar stores, because it will cost you lots more if you wait until you need them. I kept them in my bag and brought them out when we needed them.
