Any information on the Spirit!

I am a first time cruiser. I sail 6/14/08. Thanks!

There's plenty of information about the Spirit in this forum and web site.

First, I suggest reading the many reviews of the Spirit, just click on reviews in the top CC banner above, and choose the Spirit.

Second, ask more specific questions. A general question like you have asked usually doesn't get many responses, because we can't read your mind.

have they given you a cabin number?

if not, you are GTYed a balcony cabin and will be assigned one at a later date. could be a BE location or better.

mostly, it means that is the lowest level of cabin you will receive. the BEs being the lowest level of balconies.

last dec, on the spirit, i had the BDs..one step up from the BEs. i choose my cabin, didn't book a GTY.

Hi Sailingnut, I will be traveling on the same cruise as you...along with 100+ of my friends. We are actually a group that just ended up with one person getting the ball rolling and it took off. Some of us were together the other night and it seems that out group is the talk of the town. Seems everyone knows someone who is going. Whenever we get together, someone always says how many days until we sail...and we booked last April. This has been a very long wait, but so worth it. See you on board!!!

Is there anything wrong with the AFT balcony room on deck 11? Is there much noise and is the balcony and room larger. Do you feel more motion from the ship? I am taking the ear patches with me for sea sickness. Thanks.

The Spirit is the prettiest ship I have been on so far. It is laid out very nicely and easy to learn/manuever. You chose a great ship for your first cruise!!

I hope you have a great time :)

Looking a the deck plans there strictly aren't any aft cabins. All the balconys look the same. It's right under the buffet, however. I wouldn't worry about motion sickness unless you are prone to it.

Happy cruising!:)
