Skagway - Fraser: Entry into Canada ?

Most of our party will be taking the train from Skagway to Fraser. I will be picking up rental car and driving to Fraser to meet them. Our 18 month old is going to ride with me.

Do I need anything special at the border in addition to his passport? His dad will be on the train. I looked at some customs website and did not find any information. Should I just come prepared with a notarized letter like in the US?

Thanks in advance!

If his Dad isn't with you/him, definitely have a notarized letter to avoid any possible problems. Fraser is usually a very easy crossing, but we occasionally get new Customs people from down south who are really impressed with the power they have to ruin your day.
