Hotel in San Diego??..Priceline

If I do the priceline thing for pre cruise room, what area in San Diego should I click on?....I have had real success in booking very nice cheap rooms on priceline but I dont know what neighborhood to click on to be near the cruise pier....thanks...Please answer here or email to gvizier@aol.com

Downtown San Diego & Harbor Island...

Look for hotels in the downtown, embarcadero area. There is a Holiday Inn across the street from the cruise terminal. There is an Embassy Suites 5 minutes away by Taxi. Never used priceline, but to look at some of the hotels here go to http://www.signonsandiego.com and click on hotels for some descriptions. Happy to answer any questions. Laurie

Look at www.biddingfortravel.com and you will be able to see the prices and hotels of previous bidders. You definitely want downtown.

I usually use Priceline but for San Diego I got a good deal on Hotwire. The Hotel is the Holiday Inn San Diego-Harbour View for $48.00. Why don't you take a look at Hotwire.
