Food riots in Cairo

Has anyone been in Egypt over the past few weeks? I have been hearing on the BBC and other news outlets about rioting in the streets of Ciaro over the price of wheat/bread.

 

Wondered if anyone saw anything amiss while in the center city?

Hi, we were just there 4/12 - 4/26 and we did not see anything like this going on. Maybe we were in a part of the city that was not affected.

We did however hear on the World CNN station about the food cruisis all over the world and that doesn't seem to be in the news in the USA.
