Where is AVIS in Whittier?

We have booked a rental car in Whittier, I reserved it for 8am, the time the AVIS location opens.

 

Just wondering how sticky are they about the pickup time? (Just in case we can't get off the ship that early)

 

Also - where is the AVIS in Whittier? I realise that Whittier is very small, but I can't seem to find directions to the AVIS office???

Google "avis whittier.ak" and you will see a map right away, then follow any link you like and you'll get the answer to your question.

You'll see the harbor when you get into Whittier. The Avis office is in the Harbor Store, located on the water front in about the middle of the harbor. Couple minute walk from the ship. Don't worry about getting there on time, there will be a line of people in front of you picking their car as well. You will have no problem getting off the ship.
