WeBeGone Posted October 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 6, 2004 Some ideas: From 4-8 at El Meson de Pepe, a Cuban place at Mallory square, free band playing outside. No need to purchase anything-just have a seat on the bench for a free concert. Mallory Square sunset celebration - a combination art/crafts fair-circus-food court-all around good time. Every night starting about 2 hours before sunset. do not miss it. A sunset cruise on one of several sailing ships. The Tropic Cinema - a new movie place right downtown. southernmost Posted October 6, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2004 The Ghost Tour is a good idea with a 12 year old. It walks just under a mile, is about 90 minutes long. The storyteller guides a group to places around the historic area to tell ghost stories. The trip meets at La Concha hotel on Duval Street at 8 pm and is about fifteen dollars for adults. Mallory Square will be a great time for everyone. Have fun!
