Cab fare to airport

I would like to avoid the cruise line shuttle to the airport from the pier. Does anyone know if it is easy to get a taxi to the airport and what the cost is per person? Thanks

Assuming your sailing the Liberty next January cabs at the Port of Miami are plentiful. You'll have no problem getting a cab to MIA. They charge by the ride, not per person, it's a flat rate of $24 from POM to MIA.

Thanks! Yes I forgot to mention the port :o . $24 is much better than $40 pp for a group of 4 .
