Caldera to San Jose

Has anyone arranged their own transportation back to the airport from the port in Caldera? If so I would appreciate the contact info.

We did San Jose to Caldera on the small bus provided by Seabourn--it was a real good ride--any special reason for wanting privite transportation? There really isn't much in Caldera to choose from-- bet you will have to get someone from San Jose to come down and get you! Don

From the research I have done regarding transfers to and from port to airport there are many opertors that provide this service. It appears the rate is approximately $110 for a van that would hold up to 7 passengers. Before I booked this cruise I spoke with cruisers who highly recommended a private van over Seabourn but never asked for any names.

 

I would like a recommendation from someone who has done this.

We took the Seabourn transfers and were very pleased with the service. The tour guide provided us information about the area. The van was air conditioned and pleasant.
