Blow Dryers on the Victory

Do the cabins on th Victory have hair dryers ? Thanks in advance !

Yes in the bathroom and kinda whimpy. They wouldn't have worked well if my hair was still long as it is thick. But, I didn't want to have to pack one.

Do I need to pack my Hair Dryer?A hair dryer is provided in the bathroom (Destiny, Triumph, Victory) or at the desk/vanity in the stateroom (Spirit, Pride, Legend, Conquest, Glory, Miracle, Valor, Liberty). Hair dryers are not provided in the staterooms of all other ships.

Yes, but they are quite possibly the worst hair dryer I have ever used. :eek: The ones on the Victory are a wall mount with a hose coming out of it -the hose would get hot enough to burn you, yet no hot air ever seemed to make it out the other end!!

 

The other ships I have been on had a normal handheld hairdryer in the drawer except that you had to hold the button in. But I'd bring my own if I went on the Victory again - and I'm one of those people who is not at all picky about hair stuff.

OK, if I bring my own is there an outlet by the vanity/mirror area? This way I can dry my hair while someone else is using the bathroom.

I found the hairdryers on Carnival Victory to be just fine, not wimpy at all. I had brought one with since I hadn't found the info on Carnival's website about which ships have them but I used the wall mount one in the bathroom.
