transport from Dover hotel to cruise ship pier

While on the Dover port cruise ship web site, I noticed that there was a mention of a shuttle (for a fee) between the pier and Dover's Market Square ( it also apparently goes to Dover Castle). Does anyone know if this shuttle would allow us to bring our luggage - we are in a hotel quite close to market square.

 

Alternatively, is it possible to walk the distance from Central Dover (Market Square) to the Cruise ship terminal. We will have minimal rolling luggage and have walked with luggage before at about a walking distance of 30 minutes.

A taxi is only about 6 GBP ($12) from the cruise terminal to the town centre.

At a guess I'd say its about a 30-40 minute walk but the first part is a typical 'walk through the docks' with no clear footpath at times and a surface not condusive to rolling luggage.
