Azamara Quest-North East Asia ,February 2009

Am going on the Azamara Quest to North East Asia in February 2009. Has anybody any comments, good or bad about the itinery ?. I am hoping that the ship will be better than my last cruise around South America in January of this year on board the Infinity when the quality of the ship and food did not live up to the hype in the brochure (it was definitely not 5 star). The Azamara Quest has got a similar hype in the brochure, I hope I am not disapointed this time as the forum seems to give it mixed reviews.

I see that you mentioned the Azamara for an Asian cruise.

 

We recently booked the Mariner for the October cruise and you caused me to look at the comparisons for the Azamara Quest vs. Regent Mariner

 

Both ships have roughly the same number of passengers.

The Regent is "All inclusive" and the Quest is not

 

The Mariner is more expensive (comparing a Veranda room to a Veranda room on both ships).

 

Maybe others will have some more conclusive feedback because we haven't sailed on either ship.
