Maya Palms Resort

November is the opening date of the Maya Palms Resort in the area of mahahual. We are actually 6 miles from the town centre. We have a freshwater pool, bar, restaurant, over 300 meters of beach. It is possible to rent kayaks go snorkelling and diving. They can be seen at http://www.mayapalms.com or contact crocodile@2dive.com. Cruisers are welcome. AMPLE PARKING for those golf carts.

Is there a day charge for the resort alone? What facilities would be available?

At the moment the owners are not talking about a day charge. They have the pool and only accept guests who do not bring their own drinks and food with them. There will be a restauarnt and also snacks will be offered during the day. What they are looking for is a fun place away from the crowds for people to come and enjoy. If there is a change in Policy I will post it. But remember only from NOVEMBER please and even then you have to put up with some remodelling.
