Dinner in Victoria

Recommended Posts

Many locals go to John"s Place at 723 Pandora near City Hall . John"s is near the corner of Douglas and Pandora but beware get there with time to spare as there is always a line-up to get in.

How close is John's Place to the Fairmont Empress?

It is about a 10 block walk in either direction. The Blue Fox is about 5 blocks. In both cases they are pretty short blocks and it is level walking.

You guys are great, thanks for all the suggestions and the maps@!

We have a coupon for Blethering Place, so we thought we would go there for tea/lunch in the afternoon.

What about breakfast? We are staying at Laural Point and will be driving out of Victoria on a Sunday morning. We need to head to Sidney, arriving by 10:30 am to take the ferry to Anacortes. Where could we stop for a "local" breakfast. Not real interested in eating at the hotel. Where do YOU go for breakfast?

thanks again for all your suggestions.

We locals go to John's place for breakfast :)

Best breakfast in all of victoria but line ups do happen on weekends if not everyday ....go early or make a reservation.

Blething Place isn't great for tea really hit or miss. Try White Heather Tea room located at 1885 Oak Bay Ave 250 595 8020. It is a cab ride from Laurel Point but worth it :) Make reservations.
