Cruise cancelletion - "Balmoral"

Does anyone know the real reason behind the cancellation of the "Balmoral" cruise number BL024 and its sectors? The reason given is "operational reasons" which could cover a multitude of sins. It has been replaces by a round Britain trip and a Dover / Caribbean / Dover cruise.
