As a first time cruiser, are toiletries such as soap/shampoo etc. provided in the cabins?

Also, any tips on what the weather might be like in the Fjords in May - trying to plan my wardrobe!

Yes, they do supply a bag with some toilet goods but it is fairly limited and inadequate for all but the shortest cruise. There is plenty of liquid soap in the cabins but this is not alway popular, especially with the ladies.

This apart, you will find the "Boudicca" a lovely ship and the Norwegian coast is both spectacular and beautiful. The staff members are so friendly and will make you feel very welcome. The food, I have found is excellent too, so prepare to diet on your return.

The weather can be variable (to put it mildly) and is similar to Northern Scotland. Take a range of clothes.

I think you will have a great time but, beware, cruising can become addictive. Enjoy your cruise.

They do supply a very nice little bag with a selection ,including shoe cleaner and sewing kit.

In fact if you don,t use it ,take it home and fill someones stocking with it at Christmas.
