If we arrive in Anchorage about 5:30 pm, via post cruise tour w/RCI do we have time to visit the Wildlife Conservaton Center and Beluga Pt.? Do we need to rent a car to do this or can we get there by taxi or shuttle service?

How much is it to rent a car? We are staying at the Anchorage Marriot. Is there a rent-a-car place nearby? How much is for shuttle or taxi service to these areas?

We leave Anchorage 1st thing in the morning to Denali.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

The Wildlife Conservation Center closes at 8pm during the summer and lets no vehicles in after 7:30pm. However, you could still make the drive down the Seward Highway to Beluga Point or even further. There are several rental agencies downtown including Hertz and Avis as well.
