Alaska 2009

Recommended Posts

I've noticed on HAL's website that there is no availability of verandah or deluxe verandah cabins for northbound cruises from Vancouver in May and June 2009. Is HAL holding these back for cruisetour customers? Any idea on when these cabins will be released to those of us *not* interested in a cruisetour?

Thanks in advance.

I talked to HAL a few months ago and they told me exactly that. Verandah's are held for the cruisetour passengers since that is where the money is.

We put down a $100 deposit so that they would call us before cabins in 2009 were available to the general public, but we changed our minds and are going next month instead. Great deal on a b2b!

I can't believe they don't let any balcony cabins out if your not interested in a cruisetour. Wow. Guess I'll try another line. Thanks for the info.

You can get a balcony on the ships that sail from Seattle, because there are no cruisetours associated with those roundtrip cruises.
