Smokers on Mercury pls answer-picking cabin

I KNOW there's a no smoking policy going into effect soon, but we are sailing prior to that, so I would love to know exactly where you may smoke on board. Am selecting my cabin accordingly. (I do not smoke in the cabin). I know you can't smoke in theater and restaurants etc indoors. Are certain bars/clubs designated for smokers?

Is it currently port side outdoors Sky deck, resort deck, promenade and casino? The space I'm really asking about is aft on Sky, at the basketball courts. 'There is a cabin available right there.

I'm leaning toward a cabin by forward stairs on Penthouse since we plan to use the T pool at least once a day, but want to be sure I can zip out (up 1 deck) for a smoke from there, too. Thanks.

I just got off the Century which should have similar policies. On the Century all of the bars had a smoking area except for Michael's Club which was smoke free. You could also smoke in all outdoor public areas on the port side of the ship. You could also smoke in all staterooms and verandahs. The casino allowed smoking on one side most nights, but one night was smoke free. Smoking was not allowed in the main theater, movie theater, evelvators, spa, or any dining areas.

The aft pool is covered but there is smoking on the port side. The area is quite large and there is a bar there. The open deck outside and aft is also quite large, a portion of which has shelter from the sun/rain.

That is such good news....until the smoking ban!
