CB & the Statue of Liberty

We are sailing on the Caribbean Princess on June 22 from the Brooklyn Pier. Can anyone tell me just how good a view we will get of the Statue of Liberty of should we do a Harbor Cruise, Pre or Post, to get decent picture?

Thanks,

Anne

view from the Brooklyn Cruise terminal. You past closest to it on the starboard side.

You get the bst and least expensive view from the Staten Island ferry...which is free,...both the Ferry and the view.

If you go to Battery Park pre cruise, there is a free Staten Island ferry that takes you right by the statue, does a loop and returns to the terminal. There is also a ferry that takes you to the Island but you will have to pay for this.

You will get a nice photo although quite a distance away on your cruise past Lady Liberty.

Good question Anne, since we are leaving a little more than a month after you, Barbie and I were wondering the same thing. I hope you are feeling well and we will talk soon.

Hi Bob,

Give a hug to Barb...one of these days we'll get the Idols all back together again :D

We promise to keep the CB in good shape for you. Be sure to check out the Thermal Suite, we LOVE it :p

Hugs,

Anne

Once again you are right on, we splurged this time and booked a PH Suite for that exact purpose. I fully expect that Barbie will be there every single day. That is one of the things on cruising that she loves the most. Me, just give me a casino that is always open and I am happy.

Anne, you will get a great view of the Statue of Liberty from the starboard side of the ship. You should be able to take plenty of great pictures from there. If you are lucky enough to have a starboard outside/balcony cabin, you will also get a nice view from your cabin. Have fun.

We have an Balcony on the Caribe Deck - Odd #, is that Starboard?

Thanks,

Anne - Never sure of these things :o

Hi Anne, I think I am correct in this statement but if you are on the ship and are looking at the front of the ship, the starboard is your right side.

I hope I am correct.
